We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. it seems like a girl but is a boy actualy i think because of the first episode where he talks about geting embareced in frent of girls..

Have you read the manga of Soul Eater? Chrona is referred to as a boy for a while, but Medusa says that Chrona is her "only daughter." From that point forward, Chrona is referred to as a girl. And come on... That's a DRESS.
There are various parts of the series that support Chrona being female, and other parts that state she is male... So it's basically unknown what gender she REALLY is, but I like to think of her as female.
As for her claiming to "get embarrassed" around girls may be just because she has never been around other girls her age, etc, etc...

That was actually an error on the translator's part.. Medusa used the word 'kodomo', meaning child, instead of 'musume' or 'musuko' (daughter, son). So, she really said that Chrona is her child. :B
Darn translators! Confusing all of us dumb Americans! *shakes fist at air*
